Hilton Head Island – Coronavirus Update

 

As of this week ending April 3rd:

Governor Henry McMaster as of Friday has ordered that DHEC release the number of people that have tested positive for COVID-19 by zip code. This information should be available to the public soon. Click here to read more.

On Thursday there were 29 new cases reported in Beaufort County. Which makes the county total 130. Click here for article.

Most golf courses and tennis courts have started implementing different policies to combat the pandemic. Some of the facilities are remaining open with social distancing and others have decided to close. To view a list of openings in the area click here.

There was also an order released on Wednesday 04/01/20 that all non-essential businesses be closed. This includes a large list of business to view the entire list click here.

 

As of this week ending March 28th:

Public Beaches are closed, however, if you live or are staying in a neighborhood that has private access, you can go to the beach.

Many restaurants are doing Curbside Take Away. For a list, CLICK HERE.

Food stores are still open, and getting deliveries. Bread, Toilet Paper, and the staples are slowly being restocked.

The current real estate market in our area is still active, there have been 77 new contracts, and 102 properties sold between 3/19/20 and 3/25/20.
