Shopping on Hilton Head Island

If you are like me, when I go on vacation I seem to have more time to leisurely shop. Shopping on Hilton Head Island offers something for everyone. It is fun to visit and shop the different boutique stores throughout Hilton Head Island. One of the more scenic shopping spots is the recently opened Shelter Cove Town Center. This mid-island walking village offers a variety of stores and restaurants along Broad Creek. Stop and enjoy the vistas overlooking the salt marsh. Sunsets are beautiful here and there are a few restaurants overlooking the views. One of my favorite breakfast or lunch spots in the Town Center is The French Bakery. Established in 1998, it was taken over in 2012 from The Belka family of Poland. A wide selection of fresh breads, crepes, quiches and pastries are made from scratch daily. Towards the south end of the Hilton Head, savvy shoppers will love strolling through the Village of Wexford. Over 30 merchants are located here including the designer ladies clothing shop, The Porcupine. With a variety of brand names, one can be assured of finding just the right piece of clothing. Want a facial or pedicure? Try Faces Day spa. Ombre Italian restaurant is located in this village and is one of the best authentic Italian restaurants on the island.
